Welcome to Hillsborough County Al-Anon Family Groups

If you’ve worried about someone’s drinking, you are not alone.

Hope and help for families and friends of alcoholics.

If you are affected by someone else’s drinking, you are not alone. Al-Anon family groups is a fellowship that offers strength, support, and hope to those struggling with the effects of a loved one’s alcoholism. For over 70 years we have provided a safe and confidential space for families and friends to share their experiences and find healing together.

“… we discover that no situation is really hopeless, and that it is possible for us to find contentment, and even happiness, whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not.”

Newcomers, are Al-Anon Family Groups right for you?

If you’re unsure, consider these questions:

  • Do you worry about how much someone else drinks?
  • Do you feel helpless in trying to control someone else’s drinking?
  • Do you feel embarrassed or make excuses for someone’s behavior when they drink?
  • Are you looking for ways to regain peace and happiness in your life?

If you answered “yes” to any of these, Al-Anon may be able to help.
